How to Become a Money Magnet

Many women ask me if it is OK to want money, wealth and financial freedom. The short answer is YES. However it does not seem to be easy for many of us to accept this. If we can truly accept and believe that it is our birthright to have all the money we need and more, we would create room for the universe to deliver our wealth to us, with ease and grace.

One of my teachers, Sonia Choquette, always says we are trust fund babies of the universe, there is no limit to that trust fund and all we have to do is claim it.

Here are some ways to help you claim what is rightfully yours:

1. Identify your money detractors: what beliefs detract, or repel money from you?  Consider your childhood and any beliefs that you may have adapted from your parents and/or culture. Once you have become aware of these beliefs, challenge them. Do they really work for you? Do they reflect your highest level of being? You have the power, and the divine right, to change them. Reunite them to reflect who you truly are and what will help you become a magnet to your desired inheritance.
2. Decide to be a money magnet: with every decision comes responsibility. Are you ready to be responsible for the wealth you create? Do you have savings, spending and retirement plans in place? Do you have boundaries in place with friends and family? It is important to be prepared for all the changes being a money magnet will bring! Being conscious about your decision to be wealthy will serve you immensely.
3. Be focused in your intent: it is vital to be focused and unwavering in your intent to be financially successful.  When challenges come your way deal with them faithfully.  When doubts surface simply acknowledge them as just doubts and move past it as quickly as you can.  Try not to resist any doubts or fears as that will only strengthen them.  It is not uncommon for the universe to test our resolve and our level of commitment and being aware of this can help you to overcome most difficulties or challenges you may face on your path.
4. Become friends with money: money is energy.  To the degree that we honour it as such, and honour the energy we give out in service of it, we will become instant magnets.  This is not an easy task however. To make it easier it is helpful to feel the energy as money and then place it in your heart as pure loving energy. These are the simple steps to doing this: Place a bill in your hand and close your eyes.  Breathe deeply and allow yourself to feel or sense the money in your hand as part of your hand.  Now allow yourself to feel or sense the pure energy of your hand.  Finally, move your hand to your heart and feel the energy around your heart center, with the intention of placing the energy of the money there as you do.  Send this energy out of your heart center, beaming in all directions about 10 feet around you.  You can even sense this energy flowing from your heart to cover your neighbourhood, community, city, country and the planet.  This is a very powerful exercise in becoming a money magnet.

Remember that having money is very, very good.  It is your birthright.  The only question you should ever ask yourself regarding money is how much do I want to claim for myself today, this month, this year and in my lifetime?
