How to Harness The Wandering MindHow many times have you found that your mind wanders, as if it has a journey all of its own? By the time you realize it, you’ve missed precious, real time moments never mind what was being said or what we were trying to read, watch etc. Sometimes we are so lost in thought about the past or the future and we miss out on the present – the only time that really matters. “The secret of health for both mind and body is not to mourn for the past, worry about the future, or anticipate troubles…but to live in the present moment wisely and earnestly,” Buddha. But how do we harness this? How do we control our thoughts and bring them back into focus quickly, easily and gently? There are a few things, fortunately, that really can help us. They are:
